The original owner of this southside 1 bedroom home actually build it for his mother in 1962.
Over the years with her health failing, the son removed the dividing wall between the living room and bedroom to make it accessible for a hospital bed and wheel chair. Years later with a home and property too big for him to take care of, he sold it to an investor who hired us to return the bungalo back to a 1 bedroom house and put the property back on the real estate market.

Prior to putting up new walls it will be necessary to inspect the exterior walls for damage as there was little maintenance after the home was built. Good thing we looking into the structural soundness of the exterior walls. Here are pictures of the extensive termite damage found. More drywall and insulation was removed then new framing installed to build up the strength of the walls agian.

You can see with a little framing for a jacket closet next to the front door and a cloths closet to the bedroom side and some drywall, it's back to a 1 bedroom in no time.

With the drywall hung, the closets are now very distinguishable, and useful!

Here is the new bedroom closet...

No sooner did we finish this project, the house was put on the market and sold in short order.
Unfortunately we were not able to get final pictures of this entire house remodel.
