Tim and Steve did a wonderful job from start to finish. Their workmanship is first class. They were initially confronted with some unforeseen circumstances, but handled everything very skillfully. Additionally, they showed up when they said they would and managed the overall project quite efficiently. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them for future projects. Great job! Home Healer Remodeling was recommended to me as a contracting firm with a solid reputation for detailed and conscientious work. I purchased and moved into my home in mid-April and contacted Tim about my desire to have a cabinet system built into a bump-out in the dining room of the great room. He recommended Builders Kitchen Supply and arranged an appointment for me to meet with one of their designers. Tim had supplied the measurements and a sketch of my original design. Builders Kitchen was very respectful of my goals and budget. Tim and Steve took extraordinary measures to fit the cabinetry as though it had originally been built-in. The resulting “china cabinet” exceeds all of my expectations and the complements from friends and family have been amazing. Tim and Steve also installed French doors, to replace the existing sliding glass door. Once again they took extraordinary measures with the installation. There was some question about whether or not the original opening was adequate for the new doors, and Tim was very concerned about the potential for damage to the siding. They spent a lot of time planning the strategy to ensure the installation would leave the siding in tact and the result would be esthetically pleasing. I’m thrilled with the result. I will be using Home Healer Remodeling again for additional projects that will make my basement a more functional area. You’ve taken these parts of my house from an outdated 1970 look to totally contemporary and elegant. Thank you, too, for transforming my wish list for the house to a “done” list. I always smile when I think about the times I told you my ideas about changing the house to make it more comfortable and attractive. No matter what ideas I came up with, you told me “no problem”, you could make it happen. And you have indeed made it happen. You’ve done several remodeling jobs for me and I’ll definitely keep coming back to you for jobs big and small. It is a pleasure to work with someone who is a true craftsman and takes enormous care and pride in his work. I know from experience that your excellent craftsmanship is matched with the rare (and wonderful) talent of keeping the projects on schedule all the way through to completion. I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to me that I can count on you to follow the projects through to completion. I’ve had some unpleasant experiences in the past with craftsmen who have left jobs unfinished or who wouldn’t respond to phone calls or didn’t clean up the worksite. I know from experience that you keep in close communication throughout a project and respond right away to my questions or concerns. You and your team treat my projects with the excellent care and attention I hoped for. When you told me that it’d be about 6 weeks from demolition to completion of the kitchen, I was skeptical because friends who have remodeled their kitchens told me to expect at least 3-5 months. You got the kitchen done in the time frame you estimated – even with some big surprises (like plumbing in the bulkhead and some wiring oddities). My friends and family have so enjoyed watching the progress on the kitchen remodel by going to your website. Now, they’re all waiting for the official unveiling – and expecting gourmet food to match the new gourmet kitchen!! It was in need of everything: the floor was rotten and the walls were in terrible shape. Tim and Steve came and made a new room. We have smooth, beautifully painted walls and a gorgeous new ceramic floor. The shower and sink are new as well. Everything works perfectly now. In addition, Tim discovered that we had insufficient insulation and venting in our attic. Home Healer Remodeling fixed that too. Tim and Steve are always very considerate and they left everything very clean and neat at the end of the day. They were also very agreeable about installing some new light fixtures in other rooms and this meant a lot to my husband and me. This is the third time The Home Healer has come to improve my house and every time I have been very pleased with the results. I recommend Home Healer Remodeling wholeheartedly. So many decisions, such a large project, so many weeks doing dishes in the bathroom sink . . . After four years of procrastinating, we called Tim and immediately felt that this project just might be doable. We found Tim and his team to be extremely easy to work with, they made good suggestions and really helped us think through this project with very little effort on our part. Well, that was right up our alley! We could not be more pleased with the outcome! The project went smoothly, we had fantastic professionals to work with and the craftsmanship is wonderful. It's all we could have imagined and more. While they did not do the dishes, they did take great care of Seymour, the dog, who ended up being their charge during the day! Needless to say, we trusted them with more than just our kitchen and were not disappointed! One quick call and we were set up for a face to face meeting to discuss some work in our home. A written estimate was then completed and we elected to proceed with the project. Tim went above and beyond in completing his work as stated in his work proposal within budget and timeframes. We had no problem or concerns in leaving for work each day as Tim arrived at our home to do his handy work each morning. I called him the next day and he was at my house that afternoon to give me an estimate. He did everything from storage shelving in my garage and basement to completely designing and finishing a beautiful exercise room for us, including drywall, finish carpentry and electrical work. I cannot say enough good things about Tim, when he commits to a project he is on time and on budget. He does great work and his attention to detail is impeccable.
